Imai Shuzoten is located in the northern part of Nagano prefecture. It has a plateau climate and rich, clear water sourced from the Saigawa River. The brewery was founded in 1691 and has been in continuous operation for over 300 years. Yoichi is the thirteenth generation president and the current head of production head. With focus on hand-crafted sake, Imai Sake Brewery crafts traditional sake and sake blends with a unique taste.
